June 4th (2020)

June 4th
81 days here

I am awake at 4.30am.

Negativity continues to abound as Social Media, still full of news from the USA, talks of rioting and of reporters being targeted now.

There are numerous stories of atrocities against unarmed people, people with children and militaristic exercises against American people by American Law Enforcement. The United States of America appears to be, yet again, a country at war with itself, while Britain's sheeple continue to be led by braying donkeys, with little respite in view.

5.42am
I shall try to get back to sleep.

I am awakened at 7.30am by drilling and banging from the house next door. I get up, shower, curse, brush my teeth and curse some more.

I need to spend time today designing The Blue Lotus magazine, otherwise it will fall further behind schedule. So no breakfast out for me, and I will sacrifice my Flat White in favour of ‘Red’ and a banana sandwich.

I am served lunch (a very flavoursome chicken soup with rice) by a ten year old Khmer boy. School in Cambodia is still out, so the boy spends his days absorbing the arty atmosphere at Colors of Cambodia. His English is very good too.

Other than that, it has taken me three hours to design a two page spread. But it is done now, and I am tired. My newly bought computer mouse has died. Luckily the students have left a WiFi mouse which is useable.

Dinner is a plastic cheese and tomato sandwich, made palatable by the Kerrygold butter.

I am not able to complete my 500 words today.

I didn’t go out today, so there is no expenditure.
