June 6th
83 days (nearly 12 weeks) here.
The drilling begins at 7.30am. I am barely awake.
Trying to wake up, I make a banana sandwich and a mug of 'Red', in the hope of clearing away the fug in my still sleepy brain.
Still fuzzy, I think that I need a Billy Cotton style 'WAKEY, WAKEY' to clear out the cobwebs.
According to Google…
"William Edward Cotton as Billy Cotton was an English band leader and entertainer, one of the few whose orchestras survived the British dance band era. Cotton is now mainly remembered as a 1950s and 1960s radio and television personality."
His catchphrase was an extremely loud 'wakey wakey'.
I take my morning glance at the various news items on Facebook, and stop after I realise just how negative Facebook is at the moment. There are seemingly endless images and videos of American police brutality, and political negativity coming from Britain in regards to the totally inept Government there.
8.48am
I go back to rest, as I'm obviously not ready for the day yet, despite the imitation of dentistry coming through the walls. Saturday can wait for another hour or so.
Showered, I prepare for tonight's project, then find time to work a little on The Blue Lotus. Slowly it us coming together. There is probably another week's work before it is ready.
Lunch is the last of the vegetables with pot noodles. Dinner is the dreaded pot noodles again but without vegetables. Mmm exciting, not. It was lucky that I had bought the yogurt.
I didn't go out today, so no expenditure.
